Patsy
Lewis, a teacher by profession, has lived across the country
from Texas to Michigan and from New Jersey to Oklahoma where she
now resides with her husband, Curtis. “Potter’s Clay” is Patsy’s
personal ministry to individuals who are hurting, need
encouragement, and wish to reach their potential.
Patsy has been leading prayer groups, conducting prayer
seminars, organizing prayer retreats, speaking on prayer,
writing about prayer, directing individuals in prayer walks
through their life, and encouraging others to be involved in
prayer for more than thirty-five years. Patsy is on the council
and prayer team for
“Come to the Fire” Conferences, a facet of Women Alive
Ministries, and
Lydia Prayer Groups
associated with
Titus Women, a ministry of
The Francis Asbury Society.
Her book,
Simply
Praying-52 Weeks with God,
is a weekly prayer adventure encouraging readers to “Run into
His Arms and Sit at His Feet” - the place where the pursuit of
truth and an authentic life-changing relationship with God is
found. In her latest book,
Simply Listening, Patsy helps
readers learn to listen for God's voice with
keen ears and an open heart as they read
scripture and spend time alone with Him. With
guidance and insight, she shares a year of
devotional readings and reflections designed to
develop and enhance spiritual listening skills
and inspire a new way to read God's Word.
Patsy and Curtis have two married children and six
grandchildren living in Oklahoma and Texas. One of Patsy’s
greatest joys is having her grandchildren spontaneously gathered
around her having “Bible and Journaling Time” when she visits
them.
Patsy’s mission statement is: “To encourage discovery and
enlighten hearts as she leaves behind a legacy of hope to those
God places in her life.”
